This exhilarating holiday reveals some of the most inspiring wilderness scenery in Britain. From Inverness, the ‘Capital of the Highlands’, you journey across the rugged moorland and mountains of wild Sutherland. Pristine sandy beaches and towering cliffs terminate suddenly at Cape Wrath, the most north-westerly point on the British mainland, where the rolling waves of the north Atlantic collide with the icy waters of the turbulent North Sea.
There are few such remote regions in the whole of Scotland, and the views over these dramatic landscapes are simply breathtaking.

Lying south from here, the Hebridean archipelago comprises many diverse islands and this holiday explores two of the most distinct: Lewis & Harris, a varied landscape dotted with ancient monuments; and the magical, almost mystical, Isle of Skye, synonymous with the flight of Bonnie Prince Charlie, legends of the Fairy Flag and the mighty Cuillin Mountains.
