The landscape changes as you journey north to the outer Mani where cypress-clad hills tumble into the sea and inviting gorges offer splendid walking. Further north, the temples of Zeus and Hera beckon at romantic and ancient Olympia before you travel east again, for a final stay in chic Nafplion, the former Greek capital.
