If you like walking, visiting medieval towns and exploring the quieter side of Italy, you will love the Le Marche region, situated on the Adriatic Coast of central Italy. Away from the sea, you will find one of the country’s most rural and traditional areas, where picturesque hills, hiding the handsome city of Ascoli Piceno, give way to the high peaks of the Monti Sibillini range, perhaps the most splendid mountains in the Apennine chain that forms Italy’s spine.
Stefano’s cottages offer great value, and feedback is always excellent. They’re certainly a lovely base from which to explore the Sibillini National Park, with wide-open views from the cottages and pool.
Kay D’Souza, Regional Manager for Italy
Such is the wild, unspoiled majesty of these mountains that they have been declared a National Park, and it is immensely rewarding to walk amid this hauntingly beautiful landscape and visit the walled medieval villages that crown the ridges. This excellent agriturismo, where we offer two cottages, is located on slopes that overlook the valleys of the rivers Aso and Tenna and offers breathtaking views of the mountains and as far as the sea, making it a delightful base for a relaxing holiday.
