As you ski out into the wilderness from your hotel, you will come across wooden hytter. These are mountain huts offering a place of welcome respite from the elements – a sheltered spot to have lunch, perhaps, or even a bed for the night. Some are fairly basic, akin to the bothies you find in the Scottish Highlands, though others are grander affairs, providing home-cooked meals and comfortable accommodation. Read the full post

It’s a sad day here at Inntravel as we say goodbye to a much loved colleague. Simone (that’s like Simon but with an ‘e’, as she regularly explains to customers wishing to record her name) is leaving us for the adventure of a lifetime – a fabulous ‘round the world’ trip!
