Places of interest along the first stage of the Tour de FranceHarewood, Ilkley, Skipton, Hawes, Aysgarth, Middleham, Ripon, Harrogate... You have to hand it to them: the organisers have picked a great route through the Yorkshire Dales for the initial stage of the 2014 Tour de France and it would making a great touring holiday.
