I don’t know about you but I became quite hooked over the past two weeks on the Tour de France, Le Tour. My interest grew in proportion to the number of days on which Bradley Wiggins maintained his yellow jersey status. To see him slowly increase his lead and totally dominate the time trials was quite thrilling, culminating yesterday afternoon in the grand finale along the Champs Elysées to the Arc de Triomphe with Mark Cavendish winning the final stage, Wiggins winning over all and Chris Froome coming second. Walking holidays in the UKIt’s that time of year again when our good friends, Linda Lashford and David Lanfear, pay their annual visit to our offices in North Yorkshire. walking holidays in SuffolkI was in Suffolk a week ago writing the notes for our new four-night walking holiday in the UK, which follows the delightful Waveney Valley along the border between Suffolk and Norfolk, starting at Beccles in the east and passing through Bungay and Harleston on the way to Pulham Market. One of the many things that I loved about walking through this gentle landscape was the ornately carved and painted sign that greeted me as I arrived at each town or village.
